An atelier two courtyards off str. Armenească needed a winter catalogue before the November drop. We recce’d the yard on a Tuesday at 15:00, when the wall still held a little bounce, then moved the rail into hall C for the full-length set.

Thirty-six looks, two bodies, one spare coat. Call sheet said wrap 18:00; we wrapped 17:40 because the north window went flat. Selects went out Wednesday morning. Retouch — dust on wool, a drainpipe, one crooked hem — left the desk on the fourth working day, job code IC-1147.

The client collected a folder of 36 hero frames and 94 details, sRGB, named as the look list they sent. No extra mood. The courtyard frame is the one they put on the site first.

Six talking heads on Pușkin

A bank on str. Pușkin asked for six staff interviews without a set build. We pulled hall B, the 6 m grey, two chairs, one panel in a bag, boom on a stand. The first morning was sound checks and a walk from their office so faces were not cold.

Each piece sat under two minutes. We did not write a score. Selects the next morning; grade on day 7 as the call sheet required. File names followed their internal codes, not ours.

The sixth interview ran long because the subject asked to restart after a tram on București. We kept the take. Delivery was a ProRes master and an H.264 viewing copy, both dated 18 March.

A kitchen on the Valea Morilor side sent 22 SKUs — bottles, a jug, four plates. We shot on the 2.4 m bench against the side window, grey seamless, one weak tungsten so the glass had an edge without turning warm.

Labels were covered. The brief asked for empty glass, not a brand story. 22 heroes, 41 details, folder dated the same week. One revision: a reflection of the C-stand in a bottle shoulder, which we took out on the Friday.

Pickup was a link, not a drive. The kitchen used three frames on a printed card for a table on str. Veronica Micle the following Saturday.

A residential brief: one facade, straight verticals, no cars with plates in frame, no neighbour’s satellite dish if we could wait. We waited. Overcast at 11:15, Chișinău limestone reading as cream, not yellow.

Tripod on the pavement, 50 mm, a second height for the balcony iron. The owner wanted the door closed. We closed it. Eight frames left the desk that afternoon, plus a crop for a listing card.

This is the unglamorous half of the work: a street, a time of day, a folder with a date. If you have a front, a hall, or a table, write the street and the day.
